NORTHBENCH STUDIO

TERMS

Last updated 4 November 2026.

These terms cover buying and using things from Northbench Studio through this website and our Gumroad store. Plain language on purpose.

What you are buying

Digital files: spreadsheets, templates, guides, prompt packs, and illustrated fiction. Nothing physical is shipped. Files are delivered through Gumroad after checkout; some free items can also be downloaded straight from this site.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Payment and any applicable sales tax or VAT are handled by Gumroad at checkout, and the total shown there is the total you pay. We do not see your card details.

The Club

The Club is $19 per month and gives early access to story chapters as they are released. It is billed monthly by Gumroad and you can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Individual paid products and the Whole Shelf bundle are separate one-time purchases and are not included in the membership. Features described as planned are not part of what you are buying until they are published.

What we do not promise

The tools are aids, not outcomes. Nothing here guarantees income, rankings, sales, search placement or any other result, and any page that appears to should be read together with this one. Fiction is entertainment. Templates and guides are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice; where a decision matters, check it with someone qualified in your jurisdiction.

How the work is made

The writing is produced by the studio. The illustrations are AI-generated. They are commissioned and edited for these editions and are not stock photography or another artist's work. If that matters to your decision to buy, it is stated here rather than hidden.

Refunds

See Refunds. In short: if a purchase is not what you expected, tell us and we will refund it.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of these files, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here reduces your mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law - an honest gap

The business's formal registration and its governing jurisdiction are not yet settled, so this page does not name a governing law. Rather than invent one, we say so. Your mandatory consumer protections under the law of the country you live in are unaffected by that gap, and we will deal with any problem directly through Help and contact. This clause will be completed when registration is complete.

Changes to these terms

The version published when you buy is the version that applies to that purchase. The date above shows the current version.
