How to turn one piece of writing into a week of posts

Repurposing is not reposting. It is finding the five different things you already said and letting each stand on its own.

The short answer

The five angles, with an example

Say the source argued that a weekly review beats a daily one. The five angles are not five summaries of that:

A workflow that fits in one sitting

  1. Read the source once and pull candidate lines into a scratch list. Do not edit them yet.
  2. Label each line with one of the five angles. Discard anything that fits none.
  3. Keep the strongest line per angle. Five is enough for a week.
  4. Rewrite each in the platform's voice, with its own opening. The first six words decide whether it is read.
  5. Put them in the calendar with the source link on the strongest one only, so the week does not read as an advertisement.

What to avoid

The free tool for this

There is no calculator that answers this one honestly, so here is the free set: eight calculators for rates, quotes, invoices, splits, prices and fees. They run in the page and send nothing anywhere.

If you would rather not build it yourself

Content Engine is built around this: six pillars, thirty written skeletons and a repurpose map, so one piece becomes a week without you staring at a blank box each morning. 90-Day Content Calendar & Batch Planner - Notion + Excel (Content Engine) is $17. See it on the shop, and there is a plain page about it here: what it holds.

Questions people actually ask

How many posts can one article honestly support?

Usually three to five distinct angles. Beyond that you are rephrasing rather than repurposing, and the repetition costs you more attention than the extra posts gain.

Do I need to link the original every time?

No. One clear link in the week is enough, and the other posts work better as standalone thoughts.
